Michael Naethe Michael Naethe, Esq.

Michael Naethe’s practice focuses in the areas of loan modifications, employment law, insurance, banking and securities regulation, administrative law and employee benefit plans (pension and welfare). Michael has special economic expertise in monetary policy and central banking. Michael obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law and his undergraduate degrees in economics and international business from Boise State University. He also holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Manchester. Michael previously served as deputy attorney general with the State of Idaho, representing the Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) and the Idaho Department of Insurance. He was as an adjunct professor of economics at Boise State University and taught two classes - an undergraduate course in microeconomics and an MBA economics survey course. He was co-owner and managing member of a consulting company that focused on business analysis and economic forecasting. Michael is admitted to practice law in the State of Idaho and Nevada. Michael, in his spare time, is an avid reader of academic journals, economics and finance blogs.
